ezboard, Inc. has just introduced adverts on people’s trial Gold Communities as of 28 June 2006.

I thought I’d mention it here because ezboard hasn’t seen fit to formally announce that change anywhere: it slips in in a non-ezSupporter area.

So if you’re fed up of intrusive and in some cases dodgy adverts on your ezboard community and decide to give Gold status a try, you won’t notice the difference. Hmm. I wonder if ezboard are backing up trial Gold Communities? Regular readers will remember that whatever backups had been made were somehow lost by ezboard last year…

Of course, the change to have adverts on trial Gold Communities somewhat contradicts the clear statement here that “every Gold Community is 100% ad-free”…
